Wayne Johnson, our vice president for six years, has submitted his resignation from the Board. He will continue contributing to our website and newsletter. Wayne is an accomplished ski historian and a notable collector of ski memorabilia. His ski industry legacy dates back to the late sixties and early seventies as a ski shop owner and manufacturer’s rep. You’ll still see Wayne around Sun Valley and at the bi-annual banquets. By the way, if you’re looking for a nice boat, Wayne is also a broker. Thank you, Wayne, for the many years you’ve dedicated to the Board.
The voting members of the Board have elected Rick Stocks as the new vice president. Rick has a long history of skiing and racing, starting at Hyak where his father was a ski patroller. He also brings extensive experience in non-profit organizations and will be a tremendous help as we navigate the rapidly increasing costs of banquets and newsletters. Welcome aboard, Rick!
