Our 2026 Sun Valley Ancient Skiers Reunion is fast approaching! We can’t wait to see you January 11th – 18th as we not only celebrate Ancient Skiers, it’s also Sun Valley’s 90th Season! Quoted from the Sun Valley website: “Since 1936, Sun Valley Resort has set the standard with legendary terrain and unmatched hospitality at America’s original destination ski resort. From pioneering the world’s first chairlift to hosting the 2025 Ski World Cup, each winter season has brought new additions to our storied history. This milestone season, add your chapter to our 90-year story.”
We will kick off our week with a Welcome/Registration gathering in the Boiler Room on Sunday, January 11th from 3 – 6 p.m. This is always a great way to start the week, seeing friends and making plans for skiing, dinners, and drinks around town. There, you will also receive the schedule for the week’s events as well as your name badge which is your ‘entry pass’ to our events. We are planning a week of fun that of course will include our annual NASTAR race and, back on Friday night, (Jan. 16), our Western themed Banquet and Awards Dinner! Dust off your boots, hats, and western wear and join us for a fun evening of celebrating and dancing!
New this year on the mountain are almost 100 acres of tree thinning efforts in the Olympic Lane area for what we believe will be heavenly gladded skiing, let’s all do our snow dance for great snow in January! Your Hard Copy of the Newsletter will arrive in your mailbox mid-October with a Mail-In Registration Form. Or you can find that form on the Members only section of this website.

POLICIES FOR 2026 SUN VALLEY REUNION
- To attend, you must be a member of Ancient Skiers OR a paid guest of an Ancient Skier.
- To receive discounted lift ticket pricing, you must pay the registration fee via mail or online.
- If registering by mail, please send form and check by Friday, Dec. 19, 2025.
- Reunion cancellations must be made by Friday, Jan. 9th. Allow four weeks for refund, registration fee not refundable.
- To attend dinner, members must register themselves and their guests for the reunion.
- Attendees may only pick up THEIR OWN & THEIR GUEST’s registration information.
- Your name tag is required for admission to all events. Name tags will be at the Welcome Reception Sunday, Jan. 11th.
- If ARRIVING LATE, name badges & event info can be picked up during the week at the front desk of the Sun Valley Inn.
- To be placed on the wait list or for cancellations, please call or email, contact info below.
- If attending the Western Banquet, expect fun and feel free to wear your western attire!
