Lila Corrock, long time Ketchum resident, died peacefully at St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center on Tuesday, December 5​th​. Lila was born in Cordova, Alaska Territory on May 23, 1927 to Edward and Naima Saari. Both parents were Finnish and found their way to Alaska shortly after the First World War. Chuck Howe skied for the first time at Paradise on Mount Rainier as a teenager in the early 1940’s and followed his passion for the next 70 years.
