Leighton Phelps Wood, a distinguished newspaper publisher, intrepid world traveler, competitive ski racer, and a gregarious gentleman, passed away peacefully on June 2nd at Parkshore Senior Living Community in Seattle. Lila Corrock, long time Ketchum resident, died peacefully at St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center on Tuesday, December 5​th​. Chuck Howe skied for the first time at Paradise on Mount Rainier as a teenager in the early 1940’s and followed his passion for the next 70 years.
