Kristian Berg 1925-2023

Lou Whittaker, a Seattle-born and -raised mountaineer and glacier travel guide who climbed Mount Rainier more than 250 times, died Sunday at 95. Laurel Macartney

Laurel (Laurie) Diane Macartney, (69) died June 24, 2016 after an 11-year battle with cancer. Laurie was born March 16, 1947 to Roscoe and Dorothy (Jensen) Boatman. She graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1965, University of Washington as a Phi Beta Kappa in 1969 with a degree in botany and education.
