Dateline: Ketchum, Idaho January 18-23, 2015. The Ancient Skiers had another fabulous week of great skiing, sunshine, and fun for over 250 of our members! Monday night western banquet, to-die-for ski days on Baldy’s big time groomers, Nastar races, Thursday afternoon at the Sun Valley Opera House with U.S. Ski Hall of Famer Dick Dorworth and Sun Valley GM Tim Silva and the grand Friday night banquet at the Sun Valley Inn. A special tribute was given to Nelson Bennett who recently turned 100 years old. Nelson first came to Sun Valley in 1940.
